If you or anyone you know has lost a pet the feelings and emotions can be overwhelming. Many pet parents have no idea how to get through the difficult time of saying good-bye. Often one feels:
- Alone or isloated
- Unable to concentrate or focus
- You just want to stay in bed and make the world go away
- Job productivity goes out the window
- You turn to quick fixes such as drugs, over eating, drinking or over exercising
- You think that friends, family or co-workers do not understand, so you stop talking about your feelings
- You feel disconnected from your spouse because they just don't get it
- You cry alone and wonder if feeling so empty is normal
- You feel like your insides have been scooped out and your just a shell of yourself
- You are sick and tired of feeling down and alone
Grief is an emotion we are not prepared for.
We understand the process of birth and living, but we become upset and troubled when life ends because the process of transition (death) is a mystery to us. We know life ends for all living things and it is inevitable. Such an episode is deemed to happen, but we as a society do not want to talk about grief and the feelings that manifest as a result of it so we have absolutely no knowledge of how to stop the pain of loss and recover from the Grief.
So lets do something about it now........
Our Society shy's away from discussing any feelings of loss therefore we have little skills or knowledge to learn how to get through the emotional pain of saying good-bye to our fur babies.
What we grieving pet parents need the most is SUPPORT, support without judgment, without fear of expressing ourselves. The heart will begin to mend when we get the support, knowledge and understanding that we need. Don't deprive yourself of these important factors because you are fearful, hesitate or where taught....it was only an animal so you should just get over it. Our loss is a four legged family member. It was not just a pet or an animal. We lost our companion, our fur kid, the very soul and spirit who loved us unconditionally in a way that most humans have not learned to do.
I offer one on one support. As an expert Bereavement Therapist I have developed proprietary methods and natural remedies to alleviate the pain immediately. Private counseling means you don't have to be afraid of judgment by any one. All you need to do is to take action and contact me: email@example.com
It doesn't matter where you live, private phone sessions can be arranged.
Feeling better and learning to get through the deep emotions simply means you have decided to take action and take care of yourself. It DOES NOT MEAN you stop loving your dear pet. For anyone who lives in the South Florida area I also offer pet loss classes.

About your Facilitator Dee Siat:
When I lost my dog who was my everything I thought I was going to lose my mind the pain was so bad. I thought I would never recover. I felt empty, cried all the time, could not function, concentrate or focus. I had gone past the need for tissues and moved up to paper towels. I cold not eat or sleep well. My little guy a Yorkie was suffering with me. We were both in a state of shock and wanted her back so badly. Of course this was not possible. I had to take the bull by the horns so to speak and do something to help myself and my little guy. Waiting for time to heal this wound just was not happening. I returned to school on a mission to help myself and my surviving pet. Now I want to help you, a friend or family member that may be going through the same emotions.
I am a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist/Bereavement Therapist, Interfaith Animal Clergy, Certified Laser Therapist and once a grieving pet owner who realized there were not many resources available to us. It has become my personal mission to offer assistance and to bring awareness to how deeply we grieve the loss of our pets. I offer individual counseling as well as classes.
